Huguenot Memorial Park

Huguenot Memorial Park is managed by the City of Jacksonville and is a hotspot for both recreation and wildlife. Huguenot is the only drive on beach in Duval County, is Northeast Florida's premier windsurfing spot, and is one of Jacksonville's best-known surfing locations. It also boasts one of the largest Royal Tern and Laughing Gull nesting colonies on the east coast, with nesting in smaller numbers from shorebirds and sea turtles. The park is a peninsula bordered by the Fort George River, St. John's River, and Atlantic Ocean, making it a great spot for fishing or just hanging out at the beach. To connect the park's recreation and conservation goals, there is a nature center on-site that is open every day in summer and on weekends the rest of the year. Education programs are offered monthly. Entrance to the park is $5 per vehicle up to 6 people and no pets are allowed in the park.
